Postiv is our first pick for B2B professionals who want to create LinkedIn carousels as part of a regular content workflow. It combines carousel creation with personal writing context, planning, scheduling and analytics. PostNitro is the stronger fit to investigate when publishing visual content across several networks is central to your workflow. aiCarousels is worth considering when you mainly want to create a document and upload it yourself.
This guide compares Postiv, PostNitro and aiCarousels. It focuses on turning professional knowledge into a branded LinkedIn carousel, rather than building presentation decks or running an enterprise design department.
Disclosure and evidence: OutboundXYZ's Jan van Musscher co-founded Postiv. Our ordering is an editorial recommendation based on public product and pricing information checked September 13, 2026. We captured the homepages shown below. We have not run a controlled output-quality or speed test across these three products; the screenshots are website captures, not carousels we generated. The first-place recommendation is for the documented B2B publishing workflow, not a claim that Postiv produces the best-looking slides in every test.
The three options at a glance
| Tool | Best fit | Brand and editing workflow | Publishing workflow | Price basis checked September 13 | Main buying tradeoff |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Postiv | LinkedIn carousels within a recurring B2B content plan | Brand colors, fonts and logo; slide changes through chat | LinkedIn planning, scheduling and analytics alongside creation | Creator Pro: $49.50/month equivalent, $594 billed yearly; one LinkedIn seat | Broader subscription than a simple PDF maker; annual figure requires annual payment |
| 2. PostNitro | Visual content for several social networks | Brand kits, editable templates and slide editing | Creator plan lists scheduling to 10 social accounts | Creator: $25/month on the monthly display; Starter: $15/month without scheduling | Connected-account, brand and slide limits depend on plan |
| 3. aiCarousels | Creating a carousel for manual publishing | AI-assisted writing, customizable templates and automatic resizing | Homepage explains PDF download and manual LinkedIn upload | Free maker advertised; current paid price not verified on the captured homepage | Confirm paid export limits and any publishing features before subscribing |
The annual Postiv figure and monthly PostNitro figure are different commitments. Compare the amount you actually pay and the features you need, not just the smallest number on a pricing card. A free entry point also does not establish unlimited, watermark-free exports.
1. Postiv: our best pick for a LinkedIn content workflow

Postiv homepage, captured September 13, 2026. Public website capture.
A carousel rarely stands alone for a consultant or agency owner. You need a useful idea, a sequence of slides, accompanying post copy and a slot in your publishing calendar. Postiv's appeal is that those jobs sit together: its public product description covers personal content planning, writing, branded carousels, scheduling and performance feedback.
For example, an agency owner could turn a project lesson into a short carousel, write the accompanying post and place it in the week's plan. That is an illustrative workflow, not a case study or a measured time saving. The useful buying question is whether keeping those steps together reduces the coordination you currently do between tools.
The carousel feature applies your colors, fonts and logo and lets you request changes to individual slides through chat. That makes Postiv especially relevant when your bottleneck is turning expertise into publishable content rather than exercising detailed design control over every object. Its knowledge and voice features also matter when the carousel belongs to a broader series of posts about your work.
Why it ranks first here: we prioritize a repeatable LinkedIn publishing process for a B2B expert. Postiv's documented combination of planning, personal context, visual creation and publishing fits that brief. Carousel generation and scheduling are not exclusive to Postiv; the recommendation is about the whole workflow.
The limitation: a broader content platform can be more subscription than you need for occasional slides. We have not established superior layout quality, faster editing or lower total cost through comparative testing. Check the editor with your own material before committing to annual billing.
Choose Postiv if you want carousels to become part of a weekly LinkedIn routine. See Postiv's current plans and our Postiv overview. For several employee profiles, use our team-posting comparison.
2. PostNitro: a focused option for cross-platform visual publishing

PostNitro homepage, captured September 13, 2026. Public website capture.
PostNitro centers the product around designing and publishing visual content. Its homepage describes using a topic, article URL or existing text, applying a brand kit, editing slides and either exporting or scheduling the result. It names LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and Threads as publishing destinations.
That makes it a relevant alternative when your carousel workflow extends beyond LinkedIn. The same buyer may need document exports for one channel and image-based content for another. PostNitro explicitly describes PDF, PNG and MP4 outputs, although the exact format and publishing behavior should be checked for each destination you use.
The captured plans page lists a $25/month Creator tier with up to five brands, unlimited downloads, 15 AI-generated slides per carousel and scheduling to 10 social accounts. Its cheaper $15/month Starter tier lists 30 downloads and eight AI-generated slides per carousel, but no connected social accounts or scheduling. Those distinctions matter more than calling every paid tier a publishing plan.
The limitation: check the limits for your actual brand and account setup. Multiple connected social accounts are not the same thing as multiple team members with approval permissions. For an employee publishing program, evaluate those controls separately.
Choose PostNitro if your main buying job is producing and distributing branded visuals across several networks. Its documented publishing features mean there is no basis for claiming that only Postiv can combine carousel creation and scheduling.
3. aiCarousels: a focused option for a downloadable carousel

aiCarousels homepage, captured September 13, 2026. Public website capture.
aiCarousels describes a workflow built around AI-assisted copy and customizable slide templates. You can start from a topic or existing content, edit the writing and use resizing and font/color choices to assemble the design. Its homepage also explains downloading a PDF and uploading it as a LinkedIn document.
That is a useful fit when you already have a writing and planning process. A solo consultant who only needs to turn an approved outline into slides may not need another full publishing workspace. Keep the shortlist anchored to the missing step in your process.
The product advertises a free maker and paid bonus features. We did not verify a current paid price from the captured homepage, so we are not quoting a remembered subscription figure. Before paying, check export allowances, watermark rules, brand controls and the exact features included in the plan you select.
The limitation: the manual-upload workflow documented on the homepage does not establish a complete team scheduling and approval system. Equally, it does not prove that the product lacks every such feature. Confirm those requirements if they are part of your decision.
Choose aiCarousels if your immediate goal is a carousel file and you are comfortable handling the publishing step yourself.
How to choose using one real content brief
Use the same material in each product you trial. A useful comparison packet contains one anonymized project lesson, a short outline, your brand colors and fonts, and an eight-slide target. Remove confidential client information before using the packet.
| Check | What to inspect in your own trial |
|---|---|
| Factual fidelity | Did the carousel preserve the source facts without inventing results or examples? |
| Story sequence | Does each slide move the argument forward, from the opening problem to the practical takeaway? |
| Mobile readability | Can you read every slide at normal phone size without zooming? |
| Brand consistency | Do fonts, colors, spacing and logo treatment stay coherent across slides? |
| Revision control | Can you fix a weak slide without breaking the rest of the document? |
| Publishing handoff | Can you reach the intended LinkedIn profile with the correct document and caption? |
| Actual cost | Which plan covers the exports, brands, profiles and collaborators you need? |
This is a buyer evaluation worksheet, not a report of tests we completed. Record the same observations for all three tools before making output-quality claims.
Jan's process-first framing predates this guide. In his August 10, 2024 video on automation, he argued that useful implementation includes the business process and the people around it, rather than merely connecting applications. Applying that principle here means evaluating the path from an idea to a published post. It is not historical evidence that he tested these carousel makers. Watch the relevant passage.
Questions buyers ask
Which AI LinkedIn carousel maker should a consultant choose?
Postiv is our first recommendation when the consultant wants a recurring content plan as well as carousel creation. If only slide production is missing, compare the narrower creation workflows before taking on a broader subscription.
Do I need a paid tool to publish LinkedIn carousels?
You do not need to buy one of these subscriptions merely to prepare a document for upload. If you already produce suitable PDFs in your existing workflow, start there. Pay for a tool when its creation, editing or coordination features solve a recurring problem for you.
Is this a design-quality ranking?
No. This is a documented-feature and workflow comparison. The homepage images show the products' public positioning; they do not prove output quality, engagement or time savings. For a broader shortlist, see our LinkedIn content tools hub.
