7 Best Website Visitor Identification Tools for Outbound in 2026

Compare RB2B, Instantly, Leadfeeder, Snitcher, Leadinfo, Albacross and Warmly by identification level, region, pricing unit and the data your sequencer gets.

When choosing website visitor identification software, decide first whether you need the person or only the company. For mostly US traffic and named visitors pushed into a sequence, start with RB2B, or Instantly Website Visitors if Instantly already sends your email. For European or UK traffic, or account-based selling, use a company-level tool: Leadfeeder has a free tier for measuring what your traffic reveals, Snitcher is the cheapest self-serve option with direct Smartlead and lemlist pushes, Leadinfo suits CRM-led follow-up, and Albacross includes its own sequences. Warmly fits larger inbound teams that also want chat and routing on an annual contract. If your site gets little B2B traffic, or nobody will act on an alert the same day, you don't need any of them yet.

Person-level tools match a visit to a named individual, and RB2B and Instantly both limit that to US visitors. Company-level tools match the visit to a business and then sell you contacts at that business, who are not necessarily the person who visited. That changes what you can honestly write in the follow-up.

Website visitor identification tools compared

Tool Best fit Verified price and billing basis Identification level and key limit Main drawback Official source
RB2B US-heavy sites wanting named visitors in Slack, a CRM or a sequencer Free (150 resolutions/mo); Starter $79/mo (300); Pro from $149/mo (600) Person-level US only; company-level global; overage 25–45¢ per resolution Emails and integrations start at Pro Pricing
Instantly Website Visitors Teams already sending from Instantly 3 credits per resolved profile; Growth credits $47/mo for 1,500 US-based traffic only; charged per detection Sending needs a separate Outreach plan; emails need verification Help
Leadfeeder (formerly Dealfront) EU, UK or global sites starting free Lite free (100 companies/mo); Discover from $79/mo annually, $113 monthly (50 companies) Company-level; verified contacts need Activate, from $369/mo annually No native Instantly or Smartlead connector listed Pricing
Snitcher Lean teams pushing company leads to Smartlead or lemlist 49/mo annually, 79 monthly, for 0–50 companies (€ or $ by page load) Company-level; person-level only after a visitor gives an email Contacts are at the company, not the visitor Pricing
Leadinfo European teams following up through a CRM €69/mo annually, €99 monthly, for 0–50 companies Company-level; Starter has 3 users and manual CRM sending HubSpot sync starts at Scale, €159/mo Pricing
Albacross Small EU teams wanting built-in sequences €59/mo billed yearly, €84 monthly, for 0–50 companies Company-level; 10 verified email credits on Starter Second outreach layer if you already use a sequencer Pricing
Warmly Inbound-heavy teams wanting ID, chat and routing From $10,000/year or $4,875/quarter Contacts and companies; person-level regions not stated on pricing page Sales-led contract Pricing

Watch the pricing unit. Per resolution (RB2B, Instantly) charges for each identified visitor, so a traffic spike uses up your allowance. Per identified company (Leadfeeder, Snitcher, Leadinfo, Albacross) counts a returning company once a month, and contact data usually costs extra credits.

What actually reaches your outbound tool

  • Person-level (RB2B, Instantly): a named visitor, LinkedIn profile and, on paid tiers, a business email, plus pages viewed. Instantly says matches in a saved view go to the selected campaign in real time. RB2B Starter sends LinkedIn URLs to Slack or Teams only; emails and pushes to Instantly, Smartlead, HeyReach, HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay or a webhook start on Pro.
  • Company-level (the other four): a company, firmographics and page activity. To email anyone you reveal contacts from the vendor's database or enrich the account yourself.

With person-level data you know who browsed, but saying so in the email backfires (see the follow-up section). With company-level data the person you email may never have seen your site. Either way, write to the account's likely problem.

Match rates are vendor claims: RB2B states 15–20% coverage on most plans and 35–45% on Pro+; Leadinfo says trials typically identify around 30% of traffic as companies; Instantly says person-level matching is lower than company-level. None of this measures your audience.

How we narrowed the list

We kept tools that identify visitors from your own website traffic and publish comparable pricing. Several ranking lists include contact databases such as ZoomInfo, Apollo or Hunter; those are prospecting data, covered in our sales intelligence comparison. We left out Vector, an ABM platform whose public pricing starts at $36,000 per year. HubSpot's old Breeze Intelligence page returned a 404; its current buyer intent tool identifies visiting companies and, per HubSpot's FAQ, uses HubSpot Credits to add or track them. HubSpot customers should check it before buying another company-level tool. Screenshots below show what each public site displayed, not data quality.

The seven tools by use case

1. RB2B: best for US person-level alerts on a small budget

RB2B public pricing page captured October 16, 2026, showing Free, Starter, Pro and Pro+ plans and US-only contact-level coverage

RB2B public pricing page, captured October 16, 2026.

RB2B's pricing is explicit. Free gives company-level ID with 150 monthly resolutions and Slack alerts. Starter, $79/mo, adds person-level ID for 300 resolutions but only pushes LinkedIn URLs to Slack or Teams. Pro, from $149/mo, adds business emails and all integrations at 600 resolutions; Pro+, from $199/mo, claims higher coverage. Overage is 45¢ per resolution on Starter and 25¢ on Pro.

Contact-level ID is US only; company-level ID is global. RB2B's GDPR page says its database is designed to exclude EU and UK residents' personal identifiers, and that customers using global company identification must use a consent management solution.

Best for: US-focused sites wanting named visitors in Slack, or in Instantly, Smartlead or a CRM from Pro. Drawback: Starter is an alert, not a sequencer feed; European traffic yields companies at best.

2. Instantly Website Visitors: best if Instantly already sends your cold email

Instantly website visitor identification page captured October 16, 2026, describing the Instantly Pixel and automatic campaign pushes

Instantly public Website Visitors page, captured October 16, 2026.

The pixel lives in the account that runs your campaigns. Instantly's help article says it detects US-based traffic only and charges 3 credits per resolved profile (a business email or LinkedIn found), per detection, whether or not you contact the person. Company-only matches are free. Credits are a separate subscription: the credit article lists $47/month for 1,500 and $77 for 2,000, and the Outreach Growth plan is $47/month on the pricing page. A saved view filters by revenue, seniority, department, industry, headcount and URL, then sends matches to a campaign, Slack or a webhook. Instantly says visitor emails still need verification, and its legal onboarding requires a privacy-policy update and a consent cookie banner. Affiliate note: see our Instantly review.

Best for: Instantly users with meaningful US traffic. Drawback: credit spend follows detections, and EU-only sites get nothing person-level.

3. Leadfeeder: best free start for company-level identification

Leadfeeder public pricing page captured October 16, 2026, showing Lite, Discover, Activate and Scale plans on annual billing

Leadfeeder public pricing page, captured October 16, 2026, with annual billing selected.

Dealfront became Leadfeeder on March 24, 2026, per its rebrand FAQ. The free Lite plan includes unlimited users, 7 days of history and up to 100 identified companies a month. Discover starts at $79/mo annually ($113 monthly) for 50 companies, rising to $179 annually for 201–400. Verified emails and phones need Activate, from $369/mo annually with 1,000 companies and 200 credits. Leadfeeder's GDPR page describes legitimate-interest processing. Integrations cover HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Slack, Teams, Zapier and Clay.

Best for: measuring what your traffic reveals before paying, especially for EU and UK sites. Drawback: contacts are a big price step, and sequencer handoff needs a CRM, Zapier or Clay.

4. Snitcher: best low-cost company identification with sequencer pushes

Snitcher public pricing page captured October 16, 2026, showing monthly cost by number of identified companies on annual billing

Snitcher public pricing page, captured October 16, 2026, with annual billing selected; it showed euros here and dollars on an earlier load.

Snitcher's pricing is tiered only by companies identified per month, with every feature and unlimited users. Annual billing starts at 49 per month for 0–50 companies and reaches 99 for 101–250; monthly billing is 79 and 149. Confirm the currency at checkout. Integrations include HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Slack, Zapier, webhooks and direct Smartlead and lemlist connectors that enroll leads from identified companies in campaigns.

Its "contact reveal" returns people at the visiting company. Its Identity Layer identifies individuals only after they give you an email through a form or login. Affiliate note: see our Smartlead review.

Best for: small teams wanting company alerts routed into Smartlead or lemlist without seat fees. Drawback: you email a likely buyer, not the confirmed visitor.

5. Leadinfo: best for European teams that follow up through a CRM

Leadinfo public pricing page captured October 16, 2026, showing Starter, Scale and Pro packages priced by identified companies

Leadinfo public pricing page, captured October 16, 2026, in euros with annual billing selected.

Leadinfo's pricing defaults to euros and annual billing: Starter €69/mo for up to 50 companies (€99 monthly; USD $73), Scale from €159/mo for up to 250, Pro from €359/mo. Starter has 3 users and manual CRM sending. HubSpot and Dynamics sync, job-title personas and screen recordings start on Scale; Salesforce and Marketo on Pro. Returning companies count once, and ISP traffic is excluded.

Best for: European teams whose next step is a rep-owned CRM task. Drawback: most outbound teams will need Scale for automated sync.

6. Albacross: best when you want identification and outreach in one tool

Albacross public pricing page captured October 16, 2026, showing Starter, Professional and Organisation plans with verified email credits

Albacross public pricing page, captured October 16, 2026, with annual billing selected.

Albacross's pricing starts at €59/mo billed yearly (€84 monthly) for up to 50 companies, with 10 verified email credits. Professional is €149/mo yearly (€213 monthly) for up to 250, with 25 credits. Starter includes AI-assisted email and LinkedIn sequences, Slack and Teams alerts and Pipedrive sync; HubSpot and CSV export arrive on Professional, API, webhooks and Salesforce on Organisation. Extra contact credits cost more.

Best for: small teams that don't want to wire a separate sequencer. Drawback: redundant if Instantly or Smartlead already sends your email.

7. Warmly: best for inbound-heavy teams with an annual budget

Warmly public pricing page captured October 16, 2026, showing AI Web-Deanonymization, Inbound Chat and AI Inbound Autopilot plans

Warmly public pricing page, captured October 16, 2026, with annual billing selected.

Warmly's pricing lists AI Web-Deanonymization from $10,000 per year or $4,875 per quarter, covering contacts and companies, ICP filtering, Slack alerts, routing, CRM sync, sales-engagement and webhook integrations. Inbound Chat starts at $20,000 per year. Its product page claims person-level identification and GDPR compliance, but the pricing page doesn't say which regions get person-level matches; ask in writing.

Best for: teams with steady inbound traffic wanting ID, chat and routing under one contract. Drawback: the entry price is more than a year of the other six entry plans combined.

What the same job costs

Illustrative list-price models, not quotes or performance estimates. Prices checked October 16, 2026; vendor caps are maximums, not guaranteed matches.

Scenario A: a US-heavy SaaS site wanting up to about 500 named US visitors a month in an email sequence.

Option Monthly list cost Includes
RB2B Pro $149 for 600 resolutions Business emails and sequencer push; sequencer extra
Instantly Website Visitors $124 ($77 for 2,000 credits plus $47 Outreach Growth) 500 × 3 credits plus 500 verifications × 0.25 = 1,625 credits; sending up to 5,000 emails
Warmly About $833 on the $10,000 annual plan Contacts, companies, routing; annual commitment

Scenario B: an EU or UK B2B site with about 250 identified companies a month.

Option Annual / monthly billing Contact data
Snitcher 99 / 149 Contact reveal; Smartlead or lemlist push
Albacross Professional €149 / €213 25 verified email credits; built-in sequences
Leadinfo Scale €159 / €209 Contacts at identified companies; HubSpot sync
Leadfeeder Discover (201–400) $179 / $256 Company data only; contacts need Activate

Instantly is absent from Scenario B because it only resolves US traffic. Each row buys a different unit, so compare the handoff you need, not the headline.

Which type fits your team

Your situation Start with
Mostly US traffic, Instantly sends your email Instantly Website Visitors
Mostly US traffic, several tools (Smartlead, HeyReach, CRM) RB2B Pro, after testing Free
Mostly EU or UK traffic Leadfeeder Lite to measure, then Snitcher, Leadinfo or Albacross
You want the tool to run outreach too Albacross
Large inbound volume, chat matters, annual budget Warmly
Low B2B traffic or no one to act within a day Nothing yet

A visit works best as one trigger among several. Our signal-based and trigger-based outbound stacks show where it fits, and Clay is the usual place to enrich and filter visitors before a sequence.

How to follow up without making it strange

In a July 11, 2024 video, Jan set up Instantly's visitor feature and RB2B on his own sites. He said that, from what he had read, you shouldn't tell people you saw them on your website, because it can feel creepy or intrusive even when legal. Later (7:52) he agreed with RB2B's advice, said his own tests of calling out LinkedIn profile views had people finding it creepy, and favored a short email asking whether the recipient has the problem you solve. He also noted (5:45) that RB2B had identified only one visitor because his lead generation agency then worked only with Dutch companies: the regional limit in practice. The video recommended Instantly via a link in its description; its 2024 prices are not current.

  1. Exclude people you already email. Jan pointed out (2:36) that cold-email recipients often visit your site to see who wrote, so re-adding them doubles up. Exclude customers and open deals too.
  2. Filter on page intent. Pricing or demo visits say more than a homepage bounce. Jan said in 2024 that he didn't trust revenue and seniority filters (3:07); test filters against accounts you know.
  3. Verify before sequencing. See our email verification comparison.
  4. Write about the problem, not the visit, and include a working opt-out (Instantly, Smartlead).
  5. Hand the best accounts to a person. In the same video Jan preferred a rep's thoughtful manual note when someone has browsed several pages.

Privacy is part of the purchase. This is not legal advice. The UK ICO's storage and access technologies guidance names tracking pixels and scripts among the technologies its consent rules cover. Ask each vendor for its data processing terms before installing a pixel on a site with European visitors.

When you don't need visitor identification

Skip it, or stay on a free tier, if B2B traffic is low, inbound forms already capture serious buyers, nobody owns the alert within a day, or you sell in Europe and only person-level data would change your process. A better list and sharper first message will do more; our lead generation tools comparison covers those layers.

Our recommendation: run RB2B Free or Leadfeeder Lite for two to four weeks to see what your traffic reveals. Then choose by region and handoff: Instantly or RB2B for US person-level into a sequencer, Snitcher for cheap company-level pushes into Smartlead or lemlist, Leadinfo or Leadfeeder for CRM-led European follow-up, Albacross if you want sequences included, and Warmly only when chat and routing justify an annual contract.

Frequently asked questions

Is website visitor identification legal?

It depends on where visitors are, what the tool collects and how you use it. Instantly requires a consent banner and privacy-policy wording for its pixel; RB2B limits person-level data to US visitors and requires consent management for its global company ID. In the UK, the ICO's cookie rules cover tracking pixels, and under the GDPR processing personal data needs a lawful basis. Ask counsel about your case.

Can I identify individual visitors from the EU or UK?

Not with RB2B or Instantly, which restrict person-level identification to US traffic. Leadfeeder, Snitcher, Leadinfo and Albacross identify companies and offer contacts at them. Snitcher links a person to their sessions only after that person gives you an email.

What is the best RB2B alternative?

For Instantly users with US-heavy traffic, Instantly Website Visitors is the closest substitute. For European traffic, a company-level tool such as Leadfeeder, Snitcher or Leadinfo fits better. Warmly is the heavier option when you also want chat and routing.

Is there a free website visitor identification tool?

RB2B's free plan includes company-level ID and 150 monthly resolutions; Leadfeeder Lite is free for up to 100 companies a month with 7 days of history. Instantly offers trial credits, though its pages state different amounts. Snitcher and Leadinfo offer 14-day trials, and Albacross offers a free trial.

How accurate is website visitor identification?

No independent benchmark covers these tools, and we didn't measure them. Vendors publish their own claims, such as RB2B's 15–20% coverage on most plans. Results depend on your share of B2B traffic, region and whether visitors use office networks, so test a free tier on your own site first.
